The Halifax MA VRs, show marriage for William Soule of Halifax and Rachel Dillingham of East Bridgewater MA Jan. 1791. A list of marriages performed by Rev, Angier of Bridgewater confirms the marriage. I have never been able to find Rachel Dillingham's parents. There are no Dillinghams in East Bridgewater in the 1790 Census. Does anyone have any ideas ? I suspect that she is of John Dillingham m. Jael Turner lineof Hanover MA. Rachel appears in 1850 ME Census (Hartland ME) in home of David Soule, her son, age 82. , making her birth say 1768. This is my "brick wall" lucycarroll@home,com
