I 'met' over the internet a researcher who lives in Leistershire and knows where Cotesbach is. I asked her if Plague was running through Cotesbach at the time; she told me that there were over 400 recorded Plague deaths in the county of Leicester around then. She can't say for sure, of course. She promised to contact someone involved in a family research group in Cotesbach for me to see what she can learn; if she writes back to me I will certainly post it. She is supposed to send me details about a little history book they published.
