As a joint co-ordinator of Dillingham Project 2000 (along with Ed Dillingham and Larry Lieneke) I am interested in contacting anyone with an interest in the surname Dillingham.
Our family trees and databases contain over 12,000 Dillingham references and we are trying to link together all the separate individuals conducting Dillingham research to ensure a joint effort.
Considerable progress has been made in resolving some of the long-standing problems.
We have access to both the main Dillingham genealogies that have been compiled to date and are trying to extend this to incorporate subsequent generations.
I have been researching here in the UK for 10 years, tracing the earliest reference to the surname back to the 1400's.
I look forward to hearing from anyone who shares my interest in the surname and would assure you of our best efforts to answer any questions or resolve any problems that you may have.
