I am also a decendant of Reeve Dilley and Desire. I have nothing on the ancestors, but I have a list of their children from the book "300 years of Dilley in America" I am a decendant of their daughter Deborah who married Ariel Rose:
1. Reeve (Revidel Dilla) Dilley was born on 1 Mar 1754 in Lebanon, Connecticut. He died on 22 Oct 1828 in Burlington, New York. He was buried in Dilley Hill, Burlington and Otsego, Otsego Co, Ny.
Reeve married (1) Desire . Desire was born on 1 Mar 1752 in Lebanon, Connecticut. She died on 9 Aug 1817 in Burlington, New York. She was buried in Dilley Hill, Burlington and Otsego, Otsego Co, Ny.
They had the following children:
2 Daniel Dilley was born on 6 Jun 1778 in Knox co. Illinois.
3 Lydia Dilley was born on 6 Nov 1779.
Lydia married Levi Hays .
4 Polly Dilley was born on 28 Mar 1781.
Polly married William Parke .
5 Deborah Dilley was born on 13 Jun 1782. She died on 18 Oct 1853. Deborah married Ariel Rose son of Timothy Rose and Elizabeth Polan Pomeroy on 24 Mar 1799 in Coventry, Tolland, Connecticut, USA. Ariel was born on 21 Dec 1773 in Coventry Connecticut, USA. He died on 21 Mar 1858 in Courtland Co. New York, USA.
6 Sally Dilley was born on 3 Sep 1783 in Coventry, Tolland, Connecticut, USA.
Sally married William Hughs .
7 Reeve Dilley was born on 28 Jan 1785 in Coventry, Tolland, Connecticut, USA. He died on 23 Jan 1871 in New Berlin, Chenango, New York, USA.
Reeve married Ruth Guile . Ruth was born on 20 Sep 1790 in Saratoga Co., n.y., USA. She died on 19 Aug 1865 in New Berlin, New York, USA.
8 John Dilley was born on 10 Feb 1786.
John married (1) Olive Bolton .
John married (2) Elizabeth Munson .
9 Desire Dilley was born on 7 May 1787.
Desire married Arnold Brockway .
10 Hannah Dilley was born on 4 Jun 1789 in Coventry, Tolland, Connecticut, USA. She died on 15 Mar 1862.
Hannah married Arnold Wheeler in 1810. Arnold was born on 13 Aug 1786. He died on 12 May 1850.
11 Claudius Dilley was born on 6 Apr 1791 in Coventry, Tolland, Connecticut, USA. He died on 12 Dec 1848. He was buried in Dilley Hill, Burlington and Otsego, Otsego Co, Ny.
Reeve married (2) Lovice Simmons .
