Hi, I am trying to find any info. on Henry Dilley born about 1877. He and Elsie Carlyle Smith had a child April
24th 1916 and gave him up for adoption, his name is Henry Carlyle. He didn't have his birth certificat until 1974 and he said that he was told by the orphanage that his name was Henry Carlyle and that was the name he has always had, eventhough his mothers last name was Smith. Henry says that his mother was age 29 at the time of his birth and father 39. He was born at the Salvation Army Clinic in N.Y. and then went to the New York Foundling Hospital and then to 3 other Orphanages.

I couldnt find anything on his Father and maybe a death certificate for his mother (have to buy first) Jan. 14 1949, Maryland. If you have any information please let me know, my email address is gcdaf@msn.com. Thank You!
