I am searching for Nancy b. 1828-30 who married William Dillard b. 1826 in Ashe County, N.C. probably around 1848. William was the son of Thomas Dillard, b. 1784-1786. It's just a hunch, but her father's first or last name may have been Jordan. William and Nancy named their first son Jordan and their second son Thomas Aaron, third son Allen. Remainder of the children were: John Wesley, Amanda, Nathaniel, Sarah E. and James E. They moved from Ashe County, NC to Brush Creek, Washington County, TN by 1859. Moved to Greene County, MO after 1870. William died 7/13/1878 and I believe Nancy died in Oklahoma after 1900, living with youngest son James E. They are not William Smith Dillard and Nancy Langley Dillard of Greene County, MO. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
