There is a Col. Thomas Dillard who died 1774 Pittsylvania Co VA. He is listed on the 1767 Tax List (by Thomas Dillard, Jr.) in Pitts.Co VA.
Mary Ann Dillard, daughter of Col. Thomas Dillard married Col. Robert Love (DAR: 23 Aug 1760/17 Jul 1845 Lt., PS VA).
According to "TENNESSEE COUSINS" by Worth S. Ray they removed to Buncombe County NC.
