Anna,
Mary Frances was born a Dillard. She was born about
1871. She can be found living with her grandparents,
William and Nancy Heywood in the 1880 census.
She married James H. Thomas also from Kentucky& they
moved to Pasadena Calif. Mary had two brothers whose
nams were Willie and Joseph. Joseph managed the Model
grocery store in Pasadena for many years.
Last year we made contact with a lady who is distantly
related to the Dillards by marriage. She was quite busy
caring for an ill relative and so we lot contact but I
plan on trying to reconnect with her.
