My Walker ancestors lived in Hants County, Nova Scotia, during the period of about 1770, on.Specifically, I have been searching the roots of a William Walker of Rawdon, married to a Jane. He died in 1811.He may have been related to an Alexander Walker (b. abt 1750), who married a Rebecca Shaw (m. 1782).He lived in Windsor.
Alexander Walker may have had two sisters, Jane and Elizabeth.According to the Nova Scotia Archives and Records Management--Marriage Bonds website (www.nsarm.ednet.ns.ca/lists) Elizabeth Walker married John Dill of Windsor on July 13, 1773.Jane Walker married David Dill of Windsor on January 3, 1774.These Dills were probably brothers to Mungo Dill who married Rachel Frizzell about 1785.
I would bet that either John or David Dill, based on their locations and marriage dates, is your missing link.Let me know what you think and find out, as there is a pretty good probability that you and I are related.
Good Luck!
