Thanks Vi for responding, I doubt any of my Dills' got to Tennessee, but you never know. I still believe they were in New Jersy, Middlesex, Mercer, and Somerset Counties. I cannot figure out however, if William fought in the Revol war and was wounded why he is not listed in any of the listings. I have handwritten notes that he served and was wounded in the hand by an Indian with a Tomahawk. This is information from his daughter Sarah Elizabeth Dill, who married William Gabriel and lived in NJ.
