When Babe met Vera he went to Grandma and told her that he found me and I'm going to get married.

Babe had a milk route and got sick and was in the hospital. He didn't want to loose his job, Ralph and Tom weren't doing anything at the time so Babe asked them if they would do his milk route for him so he wouldn't loose it. They worked the milk route for him, taking turns at driving the milk truck. One would drive and the other would take the milk (in bottles) up to the house and the next day they would switch. Uncle Joe had told them about some of the dogs and lo and behold, neither one knew about this dog, a red chow. One day Ralph took the milk up to the house and the red chow came running around the corner of the house and Ralph took off like he was on fire. The next day it was Tom's turn. They only ordered one bottle of milk, but he took two. He was watching for the dog as he stepped thorugh the gate and when it came he took both bottles and whapped him on the side of the head. They never saw that dog again!
