Archibald Dill lived on the Long Island of the Holston in East Tenn. prior to his move to Greenville, SC in 1784. He was living in the vacinity of James Copeland who moved there with his wife Lydia in 1786. Dill mentions the fact that he lived in East Tenn. in his rev.war application for benefits. I have his family tree and line if you are interested. James Copeland purchased land from Archibald Dill before 1790 and a portion of the land was used to build the Tyger Baptist Church and Cemetery. It was located on Paxs Creek. Ezekiel Dill was one of the witnesses for James Copeland when he purchased and sold land after 1790. I dont think I have any info on Enoch Dill, but will look in my files. Let me know what specifically you are looking for and maybe I can help you. Contact me on my e-mail address and I will respond as soon as I can./ Michael G. Copeland.
