I believe there are three books printed in the 1930's on the Dill Genealogy. I presently have the third book. There seems to be some differences.
Matthew Dill, b. 1698, m. 1718, d. 1750
James Dill, son of Matthew, b 1720, d 1796
married Jean Armstrong 1743
Children:
Matthew b 1745
Mary b 1747
Margaret b 1749
William b 1754
Jean b 1759
Armstrong b 1761
John b 1763
Robert b 1767 married Ann Gregory
Thomas b 1751 married Rebecca Hamilton
James b 1753 died 1785
Rebecca b 1756 died Aug. 7, 1826
buried in Dill's Station

Our dates are different. There is another Rebecca Dill, daughter of Thomas Dill and Rebecca Hamilton born 1792.
