Hi all, I am trying a long shot but my direct ancestors had a son Samuel Marcus Dill Robinson, and having looked around I noticed that there was a Samuel Marcus Dill written up in this pdf http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~dill/Young-McConnell-Rutherford.pdf that came from this site http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~rosdavies/WORDS/RollCall.htm#D Samuel Marcus Dill I believe was in the Presbyterian church and my family were heavily into that Church too. My Samuel Marcus Dill Robinson born 2 September 1875 died 16 April 1944 He was the son of Rev. William Charles Clarke Robinson, born 26 November 1832 died 19 June 1905 and Mary Agnew, born 27 December 1846 died 6 July 1919. They married on 1 June 1871 at Balloo, Down, Ireland. I am wondering was Samuel Marcus Dill Robinson named in respect of the Samuel Marcus Dill (like some name children after footballers) or were the Dill family connected to the Robinsons? A little more info on parents available if required Thank you Adrian Rea Notify Administrator about this message?
