My Great Grandfather's name was John Dill and was born Nov 8 1828 in Smith County Tenn. His parents were William and Mary Ann Dill. In order to enlist in the Union Army he came to Indiana and served through the entire Civl War. He was married twice, first to Juliana Skelton and after her death to Mary Skelton (Sisters) in Gibson County, Indiana. John died Oct 1907 in Gibson County. John alsolived in Illinois for a short time before coming to Indiana.
