I am looking for some info. on John Dill. He was born 3/9/1762 in Frederick, MD and died 9/6/1841. He married Catherine Burckhartt (b. 1759 d.1809). They were married on 2/2/1790. He actually owned 3 slaves in 1820.
They had a son Joshua Dill(b.1793, Married: 12 APR 1817 in Frederick, MD, USA to Mary Klinehart.)Mary Kleinhart was daughter of Francis Kleinhart of Germany.
They had a son John Francis Dill(christened. 10/15/1819). He married Sarah Ann Clay(b.abt. 1825) on 2/15/1842. Moved to WV from Frederick after Sarah died.
They had a son George Dill(b.1848 d.1932). He married Anne(Annie) Gannon(b.1859 d.1943). Moved to Baltimore from Frederick.
They had a daughter Mabel Dill(b.10/25/1888), married Joseph Frank Smith.
If anyone has any information on these people, especially the parents of John Dill(b.1762), it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
