Hi Michael,

The book "Mayflower Families Through Five Generations, Volume 13, William White" edited by Robert S. Wakefield, published by the General Society of Mayflower Descendants in 1997 is the authority on the William White family.

The book says that Mary White4( Jonathan3, Peregrine 2, William1)was born before 1703, probably in Yarmouth MA. She married Yarmouth 14 August 1729 James Russell. They had children James, Job, Barnabas, and Mary.

However, Mary White apparently had a child, Jonathan Dell, out of wedlock, born 8 Nov 1719 in Yarmouth, who was named in the will of his grandfather Jonathan White in 1736.

If you are descended from this Jonathan Dell, then this is your line. The records don't say who the father of Jonathan was, apparently.

What do you know about Henry Dill? Was he in Yarmouth MA area around 1719?

Regards -- Randy
