Volume 1 of "William Dill Family & Relatives in America" by Gilbert S. Dill shows Wm. Dill,Sr. to have a son named Joseph /b. probably in Jan 1742 in Kent Co.,DE./m.1768 in Kent Co.,DE/d.1819 in Smith Co.,TN. Wife's name is Nancy(?). Joseph and family moved from Kent Co.,DE to Greenville Co.,SC in 1788. Joseph and son Nimrod moved to Tenn. in 1804.

The book suggests that William Dill,Sr and his brother, John, arrived in DE abt 1715-1720 probably from Donegal Co.,Ireland.
William died and left a will in 1760 in Kent Co.,DE.
