Joseph Dill was married to Elizabeth (?), apparently moved from SC to Smith Co. (DeKalb Co.) TN about 1800+. Joseph died 1818-1819. Daughter, Lavinia Dill, married Joab Hale (Hail). Children of Joseph Dill included: Nimrod, John Allen, Lavinia, Nancy, Joseph (Jr), William, Philemon (some are uncertain). Family disappeared from DeKalb Co., TN about 1820-1840. Any information on the origins of this family would be appreciated.
