James and William Dill of Scotch Village aparently are not the sons of David Dill Jr. Here are exerpts from David's Family Bible.
David Dill and Rebecca Mclatchy were married on June 24, 1814.
Rebecca died age 58 Dec 28, 1845
Children were
A daughter born September 30, 1815
John born Nov 10, 1816
Mary Jane born Nov 23, 1818 married Hamilton and died Dec 3, 1886
David born April 15, 1821 died Apr 24, 1850
James Harris born Feb 23, 1826 died Nov 16, 1910
Rebecca born Jan 14, 1824 married Tuzo and died Dec 13, 1917, age 93.
An Aliza born Feb 25, 1929 died Mar 29 1837
William born June 27, 1831 died Apr 30, 1849
This information is from The Dill Family Bible presented to the Nova Scotia Archives and Records Management by Mr Henry Watson, Wolfville, NS, August, 1969.
David Sr. and son John left home Aug 29, 1831 for Grenada and never returned.
Note: David and Rebecca are buried in the Old Parish Burying Ground in Windsor.
