Sorry to disappoint you--- my Lydia Dill was the wife of Peter Dill of Rowan County, North Carolina. She had been Lydia Wellbourne, daughter of James Wellbourne. She had several children one of them was a daughter born 3rd May 1750 and she too was named Lydia Dill. Mother and daughter share the same name. The daughter Lydia married my ancestor James Copeland in 1769 in Salisbury, Rowan County, North Carolina. There is another Lydia Dill who married a Randolf in Greenville, South Carolina, and there are at least two additional Lydia Dill's in Tennessee. So-- I'm not at all surprised that you are confused by them all. There are some other Dill web pages that may give you some insights on the family you are searching for. Type in on your computer "Dill Family Genealogy." There is one sight by Lucy Dill which is excellent for information on the Dill Families. Suggest you go there and take a look./ Good hunting./ Michael G. Copeland.
