William Edward was my Great-Grandfather. He was born on March 23, l947 in Ohio and died in Illinois. He married Samantha Jane Johnson. William and Samantha had 8 children before they divorced. William was in a Union prison during the Civil War because he corresponded with the Confederates. I have an old clipping of a obituary of Samuel Dill who died in Ohio. There was no date of death or personal information. So I don't know if the two men are father or son.
