Margaret Dildine-3rd times a charm?

Hello everyone,
This will be my third posting of this in 10 years and I am smack dab in the same spot. Peggy, I did try that searching for the Dildine between 5-10 with no luck. Here's hoping third time is a charm and I get a productive clue!
Thanks everyone! Karen

Greetings researchers,
It has been nigh on 5 years now since I made the post below on this board. I am sad to say that I have not made one iota of progress on GGGGrandmother Margaret Dildine. Hopefully some newer researchers might have a clue for me. Thanks so much if you do, Karen

Hello All,
I am at the proverbial brick wall regarding my 3Ggrandmother, Margaret Dildine. According to the 1850 census, she was born about 1831 in OH. She married William Meranda at Bellefontaine, Logan Co., OH on 14 Dec 1848. William was from Jackson Twp, Shelby Co, OH where they lived after the wedding. William was born in German Twp, Clark Co OH in 1827. Margaret died sometime after 1855 and before 1858, as William remarried in IL Sep 1858. I have no idea why they married in Logan Co nor do I have any clue as to her parentage. I know there were many Dildine's in central OH at this time but I cannot place any of them in Shelby or Logan Co at this time period.

One possible clue that I am attempting to check out is the mention of one Harmon Dildine as one of the original pioneers of Orange Twp, Shelby Co in 1810. I cannot seem to find any other reference of this Harmon although there are quite a few Harmons in OH.

If anyone knows even the smallest thing about either of these two persons, I would love to hear from you.
