Hi William,

Although I am a desendant of the Diggs' from Virginia (not Baltimore) there is a gentleman by the name of Luis Diggs who has written two books on African-American Families in Baltimore in the 1700 and 1800's. He seems to be very knowledgeable about genealogy and is a "Diggs" himself, so he may be able to help you. I found reference to him at the below web site.
