It just so happens that the line I am trying to work on is for a federal judge so maybe he will see the evidence in the way that you do! I think I will add her lofty family info with the caveat "I don't freakin know" as an addition to his report. If it walks like a duck and Catherine seems to be the duck on a lot of trees!! Where else did she come from if not from the Virginia clan.? Your answer was a great help and solved my problem.. Thanks and keep adding the humor to genealogy. My grandfather used to say,,"don't look too far up your family tree, you may find some of them swinging by their tails." I, by nature am looking for those tail-swingers!!! Candace Smith
