I see I posted to this years ago. I hope everyone has gotten this straightened out by now. I have no idea how that manuscript got in the Lib. of Congress. It was simply a manuscript and never published. As Ive stated in other posts it was done for my own fathers cousin who lived in Colorado. There are a lot of inaccuries in it. My own line is not even complete. She did get into the DAR but in later years it has been proven it was the wrong William that she was going in on. In fact the documentation is for a William that belonged to The Gov. Edward Digges line and the spelling had been corrupted. Our William and Judith were first generation Quakers. First Generation for Degge. They were Episcopalians. You can't take everythign in the latter part of that mansucript as the gospel.
