Mr. Elijah Diggs - Afro-American, born in Texas in 1893.
His Father was named Newton Diggs.
Siblings of Elijah Diggs are the following:
1. Newton Diggs Jr.
2. Russell Diggs
3. Isabella Diggs
4. Della Diggs
5. Clarence Diggs
Mr. Elijah Diggs died in 1980 in Edna (Jackson County) Texas. He was married to a lady named Thelma (maiden name unknown). They had a daughter named MILDRED DIGGS.
I am trying to find out if the Diggs family were related to the BROOKS family of Edna, Texas? Were they related to
SAMUEL BROOKS who was born about 1816-1817 in Louisiana, and settled in Jackson County, TX during the 1880's?
Were the BROOKS family related to Davis Brooks? Please contact me if you have any information to share.
