Your Thomas was not a son of Edward Digges.
Edward Digges had six sons, but sadly, only two of them (William and Dudley) left descendants.
We know this from the settlement of Elizabeth Page Digges' personal estate, in which her suriving heirs are listed.
You can find this documented in "Adventurers of Purse and Person", vol. 1, 4th edition, in the section on the Digges family, where the editor states:
"The division of his [Edward Digges'] wife's personal property clearly establishes that all of the unidentified children died by 1691 without issue."
The identified children were William, Dudley, Edward, Ann, and Mary.
The names of the other eight children are not recorded, and none of them left descendants.
Perhaps your Thomas comes from the Mathews Co. Diggs family?
