Saw your post on the L. A. Diggs. The Diggs family, that moved to Madison, Co. Tn. then on down to Red River, Co.Tx., Fannin, Co. Tx., and Lamar, Co. Tx. and Stonewall, Co. Tx.
Their was a John W. Diggs, he married in Fannin, Co. Tx. their children where born in Lamar, Co. Tx. your L. A. Diggs, wasn't one of these children, but kin to them.
I will, try and find out about him for you. The : Richardson's - Diggs - Jarrett - Roach - Rodgers - Byrd - Potts and a lot of other family not listed.
Most of the Diggs, are from a James Dudley Diggs and Tamar Richardson, after she died he married her sister Sarah Richardson.
Another sister Elizabeth Richardson married a William Jarrett, and moved to Red River, Co. Tx. Most of this information on these family came from my cousin Kay Watson, in Tx.
