Rev. Isaac Digges was associated with the Mattaponi Baptist Church in King & Queen County, VA. I have no birth date, but he married in 1844 Anne Elizabeth Merrick. She was the daugher of Robert Merrick and Martha Fleet. She was born in 1827.

They had 10 children according to the census records that I've researched.

There is a hitch in this puzzle. According to one article I've read, Isaac had another wife. This is news to me!

If anyone can shed any light on this, I would certainly appreicate it! Many thanks, Martha
