The Anson Co. Genealogy site has alot of information already. I picked up more from the Anson Co. Deeds and Will abstracts which I can send to you. I also have Mary Degge's will from England that names her relatives that came to the US, including the first Marshall Deggge, the Marshall's afterwards spelled their last names Diggs/Digges I suppose because they lived in Louisa Co. Virginia along with Col Dudley Digges family and he knuckled under the pressure. The original family name was Degge and only the line from Sir Isaac kept to that tradition. I'm happy to send you the Quaker information (William was Quaker as I suspect Rose Marshall (Sir Isaac Degge's wife was as well and probably began the Quaker tradition). I have in Word format: 1. Quaker lines of Degge. 2. Mary Degge's will. 3. Louisa Co. Va. information. 4. Henry Co. Tn Diggs and Blake Bible information. I have e:mailed these to the Anson Co. Site person who hopefully will be posting them to the site soon. I am still adding to the Quaker information since it is such a well documented source of information.
