Helen, The way I have the Thomases is from Ravenscroft a long time ago it goes like this:Thomas son of Robert, b. ca 1470 no wife listed, he had a Thomas b. ca 1523? who m. Elizabeth Smythe, They had, Thomas b. ca 1570 m. Ellen More dau of Thomas More of Seamhurst.They had Thomas b/ca 1593 of Stramshall, Stffordshire, Eng who m. Dorothy Crichlow and finally they had Isacc who m. Rose Marshall the parents of our John Degge
who came to America. I did not start at the very beginning of the line I think you have that. And thus so many Diggs in America today.
