Have family tree starting with Thomas Degge b abt 1523 in Stramshall England, d abt 1563 burial in Uttoexter, Stafford, Eng. married to Elizabeth Smythe. Children were Thomas Degge II and Ellen. Their child was Thomas Degge born abt 1581, d Nov 22, 1627 in Uttoxeter, Stafford, England, buried Nov 15, 1627. Thomas married Dorthy Critchlow......goes on to Hanover Co. VA in 1674. Also have will of Mary Degge written in 1716, proved in 1722 in Nantwich in the County of Chester. She bequeaths to her nephew John Degge son of her brother John Degge. She also bequeaths her nephew Simon Degge son of her brother John Degge. She bequeaths to her nephew Marshall Degge son of her brother John Degge. She also bequeaths her nephew Charles Degge son of her brother John....... She also bequeaths her niece Mary Degge daughter of her nephew Simon Degge. The will is seven pages in length. Mary was obviously never married.
