Dudley Diggs of VA, who's line can be traced to Kent, England. The Degge/Diggs family of Mathews Co, VA & Anson Co, NC are descended from Thomas Degge of Strongshall, County Stafford, England, near Uttoxeter, who's lineage can be traced back to Hugh Degge, (1377-1399) of Stramshall, England.
