Dear Robert,
One of my oldest friends has a third name which is Kenhelm, and I know that one of his family names is Everard. So there may well be a connection. I know that one of his ancestors was called Sir Kenhelm Digby and if I remember rightly, was hung, drawn and quartered for his part in the gunpowder plot in 1605, when Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament. I know the family can trace its ancestry back to pre-William the Conquerer. They are an old Sherborne, Dorset family and I am in touch with the family in England. If you would like you can e-mail me on
georgcooke@aol.com
Good hunting!
George Cooke
