Oh Thank you for that! I had that sight at one time and lost it. Yes that is the line my Diffey research is with. This is my husband's family. It goes William Sr, William Jr. John, WIlliam III, William IV, Appalonia (his gggrandmother).
Family had said she was full blooded Cherokee and other family members have not had luck on that part of the research.
We are thinking she might have been adopted by the Diffey family. Do you know of any Indian blood in the line?
