MIRANDA DIFFY(Born ABT 1822) marries John Robinson 31 AUG 1839 , Baltimore, Maryland
Mary Ellen born in 1820 Elkridge Landing, Maryland ,Married Dennis Reynolds in 30 Oct 1841.
Jane Diffey Married Patrick Ginneyman in 1836 Pat was born about 1791.
The way the numbers add up. This is what I get. Please bare with me..I will try my best to make since..
There is a Alex1 in the 1790 census he is born abt 1730.
There is a Alex2 in the 1800 census he is born abt 1753.
* He dies before the age of 67
* Wife is Caroline abt 1748
* In this census, its shows a boy under 10. This is probly Alex4. Grandson.Or UNKNOWN DIFFEY
* Parents of Leah (1772) and Sarah (abt 1770)
* Parents of Alex2 1775
* Very possible unknown daughter.Maybe Jane Diffey
There is a Alex3 in the 1810 census he is born abt 1775.
*He probly did wed a Low in 1804
* This probly is the parents of Victor
* This census shows a male 10-16 born 1794-1800.Unknown Diffey. I have tried and tried to fit Owen as Victors brother.
* Not the parents of Mary Ellen born in 1820 Elkridge Landing
* Maybe and maybe not the parents of Alex4

There is a Alex4 in the 1820 census born abt 1789. This is where it gets tricky. In the 1850 census he is listed one page up from Victor. He is listed as Alex Diffen. Anyways this is not Alex and Low. I dont beleive Low and Alex lived that long. I think records have been crossed. I have read this whole board sevral times. I know Pat P. has records of them living this long. That right there is enough to make me think this may be wrong..But..Well.
Alex3 of 1775..Im thinking he died in the war of 1812. I cant back this up. All I can back up is Mary filing for a pention from 1812..But this is not Low. Im thinking when Alex3 dies Mary lives with Caroline.
There are sevral ways to explain Alex4 1789 and Mary 1785.
One is Alex4 1789 fought in the war of 1812.. Mary his wife got the pention. But who is this Mary? Owen Alexander Duffey marries Mary Kelly in 1803 in Baltimore. I know you all have seen the Kelly name many of times living next door to Diffeys.So that is who They are.
Now Alex4 has 5 daughters and two sons. One son is unknown Diffey. The other is Owen Diffey born 1814. This is the Owen who marries Mary Moore in 1829.
