Diffeys in Baltimore, MD - the saga continues

After reading the interesting, yet complex threads regarding the Diffey of Baltimore, I thought I would add another chapter to the story.

Victor Diffey b. 1805 d. 1888 in Maryland had the following children:

Owen b. abt 1832
Elizabeth b. abt 1836
Victor b. abt 1838
Alexander b. abt 1840
Susannah (also Susan) b. 1845
Wesley b. 1848

Both Wesley and Alexander were soldiers in the Civil War. (ironically I believe they may have fought some of my ancestors from VA)

Victor and his wife Mary Ann Midkerf b. 16 Mar 1812 d. 20 Feb 1878 are both buried in Oella Cemetery, Ellicott City, MD.

Susannah Diffey married John Frederick Wahl (b. 6 Jan 1844, MD d. 15 Feb 1901 Baltimore) and had the following children:

Ella J Wahl b. 1871
Emma S Wahl b. 1873
Ida R Wahl b. Jul 1875
Drucilla Wahl b. Nov 1881
Bessie Viola Wahl b. 2 Sept 1884

John F. Wahl and Susannah Diffey Wahl are also buried at Oella Cemetery.
