John,
My files show 3 marriages for Victor Diffey:
1) to Theresa Chalp on May 17, 1827
2) to Mary Ann Midkerf on Dec 25, 1831
3) to H. Van Valkenburg on June 7, 1881
The last marriage showed Victor as age 75 and a widower. Wife #2 died Feb 20, 1878.
