I am looking for information on my gg grandmother's family.
Her name is Dona Diffey. She was born in Tennessee about 1871.
She was living with her Uncle James Diffey and Aunt Mollie in Tenn.
when she met my gg grandfather,Loren Ellis. They moved to Arkansas and married in 1889. They had 3 boys in Arkansas,
Jimmy(died when infant), Albert, and Edgar"Ed".
They then moved to Lamar, co.,Texas. Shortly after getting here, my g grandma was born (Maudie Bell). They also had another son born in Texas (Pink H.).
I believe that Dona's mother may have died and that is why she lived with her uncle. I think her father's name was William Marion Diffey. But I am not sure.
Any information would be appreciated.
