John, Would you please share the info on the MD Diffee/Diffey line? I descend from Leah who married
Robert Burgoon. This line(Burgoon) went into Cumbria Co PA and then to Hocking Co OH. Robert's son Jacob
eventually moved to Wood Co Ohio. His son, William, moved to Denton Co Tx between 1870-80.
Alexander IS Leah's father, isn't he? Have Jemima as a sister but no bros. Seems after 1800 quite a few
of them, going by Diffey, moved into Va & points south. Same line as MD? Did some of them follow
the Burgoon's into Pa/Oh?
Step Tyner & I have the same line of Burgoon untill we get to Jacob II & our lines split off. My grandmother
was a Burgoon of Wood Co Ohio.
