I recently obtained a copy of Family Right for Diffees lightening Washing fluid. Patenteed December 24,1889 by S.W.Diffee, the Sole owner of a certain invention known as the LIGHTENING WASHING FLUID.
Mr. Diffee sold this family right to my great-great grandfather in November of 1892. Does anyone out there know what this lightening washing fluid was used for? Please let me hear from you. Thanks. Irene
