Sorry if I didn't give enough info. Here is what I have so far. My great-grandfather Louis Fochtman married Laura Dietz - she was born 12-12-1855 and died 4-28-1946. I believe her father was Ferdinand Dietz and mothers name was Catherine. I do not have any info on Louis's father's first name. That is why I can't at this time recognize any of the Dietz's you mentioned. This family lived in the Aviston, Trenton and New Baden, Ill. area. Thanks for you help and maybe sometime we can tie the two together. Leona Determan
