I have a Catherine Dietz, who was born in 1861, in Rheinfalz, Kaiser, Lautern, Germany
(?) according to some family papers. She may be a sister. Though I have no sibling information on her, the time is right..
My Catherine married William H. St. Clair, of Batesville, Indiana (Ripley county). But I think she was married by 1880, as she started having children by then, I assume in Indiana. I think your Bernard wasn't in the US at that time. It may be possible, not sure, that they came over separately?? Ive just begun searching this line. I have a picture of Catherine Dietz, if that is helpful. Thanks.
