Treva J. Dietz, 74, of Ames died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Adams Funeral Home in Ames, with cremation following the services. Burial of the cremains will be at Ames Municipal Cemetery.
Ms. Dietz was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and had lived in Ames since 1974. She had worked in human resources with the Ames school district and was a member of United Church of Christ-Congregational in Ames. She was an avid crafter.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Carroll of Ames and Philip Carroll of Evanston, Wyo.; two daughters, Diane Carroll of Medicine Park, Okla., and Linda Dietz Pruitt of Maryland; four grandchildren; and three-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
