Do you agree that the Johan Jacob Dietz who came over on the Maroborough was only about 19 years of age in 1741. He is the son of Johan Jacob Dietz who was born in abt. 1697. I am looking for information on Phillip Dietz b. abt. 1723 in Germany and his father is the Johan born abt. 1697. I can't find the ship's name that broght him to America. He had a son, named George, who was born August 3, 1763 in Philadelphia, Pa. This George somehow moved to Augusta Co., Va. and was married there in 1788. He had a son, named George, abt 1790. He married in 1809 in Rockingham., Co., Va. and had children born there. He later moved to Caesars Creek in Greene Co., Ohio and died there on October 8, 1846.
The above Phillip died in Rockingham Co., Va. I am, I believe the direct of George.
