Adam Dietz Zweibrucken to Northampton PA

Adam, a grandson of Thomas Dietz, sailed with his family on the ship “Loyal Judith” arriving in Philadelphia on September 3, 1739. Adam Dietz, born in Hengsperg (Rieschweiler parish) in 1696, settled in Northampton County, and in 1744 his daughter Louisa married Simon Heller.
I have written a book covering all relevant records from the churches around Rieschweiler and Zweibrücken. The earliest record, for this family was found in Zweibrücken in 1679, the last record for the family of Adam Dietz being found in Nunschweiler on May 30, 1738. This work, through a careful study and translation of the available records, clears up a number of mistakes concerning the Dietz family. Primarily the year of Louisa Dietz’s birth (1725 not 1726) and the name of the village from which they came (Eschweiler as opposed to Hoheischweiler, which may be synonymous)
If you are interested in the book or have questions, write to Michael Robinson Ohmfarm@aol.com
