I am trying to find information on Venus Dietrich of Greenwich Township, Berks County, PA. He was born in about 1827.
It would appear that he married twice. First wife Royal (maiden name unknown), second wife Mary (maiden name unknown.
After searching the census records, I think there is a good possibility that his second wife is my ancestor. If I am correct she was born Marie Leiby in about 1839, married a man with the last name Hans,or Hantz, in about 1859 and then perhaps after 1865, married Venus. Mary(or Marie) would have married my ancestor _______Hans/Hantz. (I am searching for him through his wife and son Franklin). The family story passed down is that he was killed in the Civil War.
Any help would be appreciated!
