Looking for info on family of patriot ancestor John Deal b.1746 Nicetown d.1778 Frankford. Married Elizabeth Gardiner in 1770. Their children, Catherine(1770-1773), Jacob, my lineage,(1772-1838) and Susannah(1777-1886. John Deal's parents were Francis Diel(Diehl), who was shot and killed by a Hessian soldier in Oct. 1777, and Katrina (Catherine) Butz Diel. G-parents were immigrant Peter Diel and ?. GG-parents
were early (1688)immigrants from Germany John Diel(Diehl) and ?. Thanks for any help.
