Trying to find information pertaining to my great-grandmother Alpha DIEHL, born 30 March 1861 and died December 1927. She married John Allen Vanfossen on 24 December 1891. They were residing in Saltcreek Twp., Hocking Co., OH during the census of 1910. I have notes written by my grandfather, Robert A. Vanfossen(notes are very difficult for me to read) mentions Diehl family members going back to " grandfather Jacob Diehl". Have been trying to find cemetery containing their memorial stones, unsucessfully. Willing to share what little I have with anyone sharing my interest in this honorable family. Family names:DIEHL,VANFOSSEN,BOWERS,GLATFELTER,SHUPE,KENNEDY, ARLEDGE, CONRAD, MURPHY, CONGROVE, BROKOW, ORR,and LINDSAY are the most common names associated with the DIEHL/VANFOSSEN connection. Any help appreciated. Robert
